An American Holiday

Independence

Day

a truly American holiday

Riz and I both have memories from our childhood of being with family, having cook outs and watching fireworks on the 4th of July. Those happy memories are what childhood should be made of. For many years after we were married but before we had kids we would go to see the fireworks together. In the town we live they used to shoot them off in an orange grove. We would park in the grove and smell the orange blossoms and watch the fireworks over head, I love those memories too.

We always remember the meaning behind this holiday and the birth of our country. We are so grateful to be American Citizens with all its rights and privileges. Being American is a unique honor that many dream of but find unattainable. It was because of the courageous men and women who founded this country that we have the blessing of being Americans today. I look at my girls and think of how proud of them I am, how proud that they too share the blessing of American citizenship.

Happy

4th

of

July!
