China Town or Taco Bell

Yesterday we decide to make a trec to our "China Town" for some familer snacks for Sophie. Our girls love Chinese snacks as well so this is a trip we do every so often for them as well. Sophie was super excited to see things that were familiar to her and she made a few purchases for herself. While we were checking out the man behind the counter said she has good taste and made good choices, I had a little proud Mama moment :)
When we were done there we decided we needed to eat (it seems like we have been doing a lot of that this week) lunch. The man again asked where we were going and we said we were not sure. HE gave us some recommendations for Chinese Dim-Sum and Vietnamese restaurants that he likes. So when we got out side we asked Sophie do you want Chinese or Taco Bell (she and Riz had a conversation about Tacos the night before) she immediately said Taco Bell and off we went in search of the nearest Taco Bell.

When we go there we ordered our standard for the kids, a soft Taco meat and Cheese only kids meal. Riz and I made a selection but Sophie was stumped not sure what to order. Riz helped her and she settled on A Chalupa Meal. She LOVED them but found them a bit difficult to eat. Once she watched us eating our tacos she figured it out and at 2 Chalupas and a Hard shell Taco. She said she loved it and plans to eat it again (hee hee hee). I started thinking that teenagers everywhere are pretty much the same. I asked her if kids eat a lot of Fast Food in China. She said
"our parents don't allow us to"  she said we like it but they do not permit it.
She is very quickly becoming an American teenager...
We went on to have a discussion about how Americans both kids and adults like things that are convenient, fast food being at the top of the list.

on an other note she thought it was interesting how they put a toy in the kids meal. She wanted to know WHY? I said that is a good question LOL...
