a brand new blog

i have a new found excitement about blogging ! I started back to it a few weeks ago and found I really had missed putting my thoughts down in one place and sharing my beautiful girls with my friends and family. I don't scrapbook, I just don't have the patients, time or the creativity to do it. I love to see others beautiful creations though, I really envy their work. Blogging has always been my "scrapbook" for life, well since we started our adoption journey that is. I always wanted someplace that I could capture those moments you don't want to forget. "Sunflowers and Ladybugs" was the manifestation of that. It was a great place for the last 6 years (WOW!) to express the joy and sorrow of life in the adoption community. I have been very meet some wonderful people, some life long dear friends though blogging. It is truly something that I treasure. With all tats being said, I have come to a decision to "retire" "Sunflowers and Ladybugs". It's not going away for good however, I just can't seem to let it go, too many fond memories of the most wonderful moments in our lives. It will be on my new blog as a tab for anyone who would like to go there and take a trip down memory lane. The new blog is much different then Sunflowers and Ladybugs.. It is bright and fresh and cheerful and all about life as a family of four with two little girls. Melissa over at The Sands Inside helped me create "it's a girls life" the story of Sophia and Amelia". I hope you will come along on this new journey of our lives. I have no idea where it will take us but we will capture those moments here.
